Welcome to the Dr Wu Lien Teh commemorative site to remember a great visionary doctor of the 21st Century. Dr Wu is regarded as the Father of Modern Medicine in China. He was the first Chinese and Malaysian to be nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize in 1935 for Medicine. During SARS in 2003, Dr Wu's research work and pneumonic plague work as The Plague Fighter in Manchuria 1910 was rediscovered to help fight the SARS epidemic.
